Rob Welter, President and Owner
Rob's background is anchored in a marriage of his technical skills
and his love of the creative. He graduated in 1980 with a B.S
Degree in Engineering from Columbia University. After college, he
was employed in engineering sales management. In his free time
after work he built and designed furniture for fun in his garage.
This led to his leaving the corporate world in 1992 starting the
business which today is CabinetMan Remodeling Services and
Welter Windows.
Rob Welter brings his thorough knowledge of the technical,
management and artistic process to his work. Rob personally
meets and visits every client, and performs much of the detailed
design drawings for our custom projects. Rob’s accreditation
includes two California State Contractor's Licences, EPA Lead Safe
RRP Certification and 12 year Membership in the Western
Regional Master's Builders Association . In his spare time, Rob
enjoys time with his wife, son and daughter playing and coaching
baseball/softball, guitar, oil painting, camping, skiing and
remodeling his home.
Dave James, Project Manager
Dave has worked extensively in the contracting industry since
1980, a testament to his management expertise, creativity and
extensive training. Dave has the hands on knowledge paramount
to success in this industry. When not busy working, Dave enjoys
his time with his daughter, grand children and Golden Retriever
Biscuit. Dave also spends free time at the local yacht club
socializing with friends
Al Arias, Custom Finishing/Installations
Al joined our firm in 1993 and has added great value to our team.
He has 16 years of custom finishing and refacing experience in
the kitchen & bath industry. Al will create a finish for your
cabinetry in your home you are sure to enjoy for years to come.
Along with his creativity and skills, Al is committed to providing
exceptional service. Off hours, AL enjoys motor sports, baseball
and fishing.
